As part of the UK’s ongoing transition away from traditional telephone networks, Openreach will be completing the nationwide PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) switch-off programme by January 2027.
This industry-wide change requires legacy phone and broadband services to be migrated to modern All-IP solutions.
As a result, pricing for certain legacy services will increase from 1st July 2026.
